Behind the Brush

Louisa dabbles in several artistic media, however she prefers to work in Acrylic and Watercolor.

She loves using vibrant hues, employing negative space and color theory to reflect the light and emotion in the scene or subject and bring overall dimension to her work. 

Louisa Shows grew up in Natchez, MS and has been drawing and painting since she was younger than 5 years old. She now lives in Hattiesburg, MS with her husband, two daughters, and two pups. 

After an almost 10 year long hiatus from creating, Louisa became inspired to start painting again after the birth of her eldest daughter.
Sunlit Haze Creative was born from her desire to one day be able to show her daughters that it is important to share their passions and chase their own dreams.
